The 2025 Gannon Memorial Golf Classic was an incredible success. Thanks to the generosity of our players, sponsors, and supporters, we raised $20,000—double the amount raised in 2024. We are truly humbled by the overwhelming support from everyone who came out to celebrate the lives and legacies of Mike and Eric.
Eric Gannon Memorial PGA Scholarship
A major highlight from this year was our continued support of the Eric Scholarship, benefiting the New Mexico State University Professional Golf Management Program. With a $10,000 contribution in 2025, the scholarship fund has now grown to more than $40,000 and is generating five scholarships annually for deserving students pursuing careers in the golf industry. We are incredibly grateful for our continued partnership with the NMSU PGM program and proud to help support the next generation of golf professionals.
Michael J. Gannon Lung Cancer Research Fund
We are also honored to announce the creation of the Michael J. Gannon Lung Cancer Research Fund, established in honor of David Gerber, M.D. This endowment will support ongoing lung cancer research and represents an important step in expanding the impact of this tournament beyond the golf community. Our goal is to contribute $100,000 by 2029to fully fund the endowment, ensuring lasting support for research and innovation. With the continued support of our community, we are confident we will achieve this milestone.
